Last night something quite wonderful happened.
A bunch of writers, performers, film-makers and painters took to the graffiti tunnels behind Waterloo station for a night of free verse and art.
Humble hosts Iris Colomb & Jason Pilley, brought along a box of spray paint, an assortment of cushions and a bucket of enthusiasm, encouraging strangers and friends to read and paint together for an evening, with phenomenal feature sets from Alexander Woodward, Peter Degraft Johnson and Caroline Smiling bookending a fantastic open mic. It was glorious!
This was a really unique experience and I was thrilled to be a part of it. Ps. photos coming soon…
But for now, here’s a video of my performance of Joker requested by Tyrone.
Big love x
